All of our work is performed using state-of-the art commercial screen-printing equipment. With our design and production under one roof we can ensure the highest quality finished product.
Our artist can bring your idea to life using state-of-the art design software. Whether you have a design idea in your mind, drawn on a cocktail napkin or already on a CD we can help you bring that idea to print. At Higgins Custom T's we know that you want to receive the best value for your money which is why we offer several different printing options to satisfy virtually any budget. We will work with you on low-volume orders at a reasonable cost. Keep in mind however, that the same amount of time and effort goes into preparing the artwork, screens and setting up the press to produce one shirt as is does to produce 500 or more shirts. Obviously, the larger your order the lower your per-piece price will be.
Traditional Screen-Printing Most of our clients choose the traditional screen-printing method for their designs. Screen-printing produces the longest lasting and most durable design. The largest draw-back to traditional screen-printing is the set-up cost that is associated with small production runs. Keep in mind that the same amount of time goes into preparing the artwork, screens and setting up the press to produce 500 shirts as is does to produce 1 shirt. Obviously, the larger your order the lower your per-piece price will be. Stock Designs If you want to keep your cost low on a full color design consider using Stock Transfers that we can modify to suit your needs. Stock transfers are simply screen-printed designs that are pre-printed on a transfer paper for later application to a garment. This method will allow you to purchase a high-quality full color design without the added expense of artwork and design. Click here to browse our huge variety of stock designs. We can customize the stock transfers to meet your needs by adding logos or text. Computer Generated Transfers This is our newest method of placing designs on garments and it has been extremely successful. We are able to reproduce full color photographs on light or dark colored* garments with remarkable results. Please, don't confuse our computer generated transfers with the store-bought type ink-jet transfers. There is absolutely no comparison. We use very high quality commercial transfer media and commercial archival inks to produce extremely high quality and durable transfers. Wash, after wash, the transfer will continue to look great. Our computer generated transfers can be placed on virtually any garment - 50/50 blends, 100% cotton, Lycra, and Spandex. There are no set-up charges with computer generated transfers, which will save you a lot of money versus traditional screen-printing. The only fee is for the artwork required to produce the transfer. Our computer generated transfers are the ultimate choice for those on a tight budget or jobs requiring a small production run. The computer generated transfer is great for a one-of-kind gag gift, retirement gift, anniversary, family reunion or any other function that requires only a few shirts. * we can print the computer generated transfers on dark colored shirts that look awesome, but the result is a thick, rubbery feel due to an "underbase" that must be used. The feel is similar to the old fashioned transfers from years ago. Combination of Methods Another very popular method with or clients is to combine the different methods. By choosing a stock transfer for the back of a shirt and using a custom screen-printed logo for the front you are able to realize a huge savings in set-up costs.
