This 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe is owned by Randy Higgins, ACFD3.com webmaster. You can follow along as the Mustang is completely restored to factory new condition. Website created on January 1, 2007. This is a work in progress so keep checking back.
This is what the car looked like when we purchased it. From 25 feet away the car appeared to be in very good condition but, upon close inspection it was found to be in extremely poor condition. The rust was severe in the usual places that Mustangs rust - the cowl vents, both front frame rails, fender aprons, lower rear quarter panels, outer fender wells, cowl, floor boards, trunk floor, tail light panel, and trunk lid are so severely rusted that they must be replaced.
We will be following the restoration as it progresses on this website. New photos and updated information will be posted as time permits.
